Menno House is primarily the home of a dozen church volunteers, students and employees of local non-profits. At our discretion, we make three bedrooms available to small numbers of overnight guests.
Our rate is $75 for one person and $20 more for each additional person, per room, per night. (No charge for children under 5 years.) Each room has a queen size bed, as well as a loft of about 4' clearance that holds additional mattresses.
The bedrooms are private, but the bathroom is shared with other guests. We average five guests a night.
The guest bathroom is on the first floor. All the bedrooms are on the second floor and accessible only by stairs. There is a sink available on the guest floor.
Towels and linens are provided, but there is no regular room service.
Guests have access to a small cupboard and refrigerator for storing food. The kitchen is available when it is not being used by house residents (generally, weekdays in the late morning and afternoon).
There is no curfew; quiet hours are between 10pm and 10am.
Unfortunately, because of many residents and guests with allergies, we cannot accommodate any pets.

Reserving a room
Please e-mail the manager at manager@mennohouse.org or call 212-677-1611. We will respond to all messages - both are checked mornings on weekdays.
If your dates are available, we will ask you to pay for your stay in full in order to make the reservation. You may pay here by credit card or bank transfer, or send a US check or money order payable to "Menno House" to the address below. We will book your reservation when we receive payment.
Payments are refundablein full up to 1 month before the start of the reservation.If a reservation is canceled or shortened less than 1 month before the reservation start date, a cancellation fee of 1 night will be charged, and the difference refunded to you.Price adjustments for the number of guests staying in a room can be made upon arrival at the house, but please do inform the manager in advance.
Arriving
You are welcome to check in any time between 9:00am and 11:00pm, but you must tell us your arrival time at least a week in advance.
Check-out time is 11:00am, so if you arrive in the morning, your room may not be ready, but you are more than welcome to collect your keys and drop off luggage. Your room will by ready by 3:00pm at the latest.
